Free Webinar on March 26th: "Digital Tools for Teaching"

Looking to engage students with digital tools in a meaningful way? Join educational technology guru Steve Johnson for a free webinar this Saturday at 1 p.m. (EDT) as he discusses practical ways to integrate technology in the classroom and answers your questions.

Steve, author of Digital Tools for Teaching: 30 E-tools for Collaborating, Creating, and Publishing across the Curriculum, believes that today’s students are yearning for authentic engagement with tools that are relevant to their lives.

"By the end of this session," he said, "you'll walk away with some great ideas in getting started in your classroom with the use of digital tools such as Kidblog, Weebly, Glogster, Animoto, and Scribblar."

In addition to learning about new Web-based tools that can reinvigorate your learning environment, you'll learn the best practices for students to create, collaborate, and publish digitally.

This won't be a sit-and-get session, but an interactive webinar, said Steve. "So, teachers, if you plan on coming, don't be shy about contributing your ideas and being a part of the conversation!" For a sneak peek and even more technology-turned-teaching-tools, visit Steve's website and blog.
